Natilon LT

Natilon LT is a time-lapse system for sites that already have power. Alongside its 8 megapixel sensor and 4K video output, what sets it apart is live view: you can watch the site now, not only in the video assembled at the end of the month.

Watch the camera in real time, record straight to the cloud, and broadcast the live view over the web to an audience if you want to. Cloud recording and live broadcasting are optional and switched on when they are needed.

That makes LT more than an archiving tool: the site office can watch the site live, the client can look at the same view from their own screen, and the stream can be embedded in a page built to promote the project.

Frames are archived as JPEG at 8 megapixels, and time-lapse video is generated automatically in the cloud at 3840 x 2160 (4K). Frames that are not sharp are removed, so foggy and rainy days do not interrupt the flow of the finished film.

Producing a video needs neither a site visit nor a download: as soon as the frames reach the cloud, a video can be assembled for whatever range you ask for.

On site the system uses 3G/4.5G/LTE mobile connectivity or Gigabit Ethernet. Live view and cloud recording want a continuous connection, so wired is the better choice wherever a cable can be run.

Natilon LT runs on 220V mains. Its built-in uninterruptible supply keeps the system working for 4 hours when the power drops — enough that the short outages common on construction sites do not interrupt the capture.

For sites with no mains power at all, look at Natilon Pro, which runs on solar and wind.

IP67 keeps dust and water out, and the housing is built from ABS and metal. The system operates between -30 C and +60 C. On the electronics side there is protection against overvoltage, short circuit and reversed polarity.
